Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, who some people call "mini s1mple", is a Russian pro player currently playing for G2 Esports as an AWPer. He was great at the game already as a kid and managed to get an invite to FPL (Faceit Pro League) at just 14 years old. He grew up playing for Na'Vi Junior but later on got picked up by G2 Esports, which would be the first time he entered the pro scene forreal. Some people might have thought that Ilya would have a more difficult time getting used to the pro scene, but the results speak for themselves. G2 managed to get 2nd in the Intel Extreme Masters XVI in Katowice back in 2022, which was m0nesy's SECOND tournament as a tier 1 pro. He and his team later managed to get several 1st place throphies in big tournaments throughout 2022 and 2023, like the BLAST Premier World Finals. Ilya has not managed to win a Major yet, which isn't a surprise has he just started his pro career, but we believe he has a bright future ahead of him and will bring home several of those in CS2.
